A Middle Sackville man has been charged with second degree murder in an Alberta homicide.
The remains of Jeremy Boisseau, 29, were found in October 2018 in a wooded area about an hour and a half northwest of Calgary, almost 2 years after he disappeared.
Investigators with the Calgary Police Service believe Boisseau was murdered in an apartment in that city in late December 2016, then his body was taken to the wooded area.
Barry Roach, 48, was arrested on a Canada-wide warrant in Middle Sackville on June 19.
At the time he was charged with indignity to a body in relation to the homicide.
The additional charge of second-degree murder was added Wednesday, July 24.
