Another drop in gas prices expected this week in N.S.

Another drop in the price for gasoline in Nova Scotia is on the horizon.

George Murphy of Consumers for Fair Gas Prices says he is looking for prices to fall by about 6 cents when the UARB makes its weekly adjustment at midnight.

Murphy tells NEWS 95.7 he doesn see an end to low prices anytime soon.

“These prices are going to be low as far as I can see right now, extending out into the summer and of course if you're watching what they're saying about the coronavirus, we could be fighting this thing for the next three months, a complete shutdown of everything,” said Murphy.

In New Brunswick, regulated prices there fell by 2.4 cents to 90.9

Last night drop there comes on top a much bigger drop in New Brunswick over the last week that saw that province's regulator invoke the interruptor clause twice to drop the maximum price by 16.9 cents.
