Islanders beat Mooseheads 6-2 Thursday night at the Scotiabank Centre

The Halifax Moosheads played a tough game Thursday night, falling 6-2 to the Charlottetown Islanders.
Three minutes into the first period Keiran Gallant put the Islanders on the board.
Shortly after the Mooseheads' Jake Furlong took a puck to the face and left the ice to deal with his injuries.
Justin Barron tied the game 10 minutes later.
Bailey Peach and Sam Oliver each scored a goal for the Islanders before the end of the first period.
Going into the second, Bailey Peach scored again which was followed by a goal from Sam Oliver.
Landon Miron brought the Mooseheads up to two goals.
Patrick Guay scored the final goal of the game, 13 minutes into the second period.
Thursday night's win puts the Charlottetown Islanders on a 14-game winning streak.
The Mooseheads will take on the Cape Breton Eagles Friday afternoon at the Scotiabank Centre.
