RCMP handed a $2,422 ticket to a woman under the Health Protection Act.
Mounties were called to Old Beaver Bank Rd. in Lower Sackville at around 9:20 p.m. Friday.
They were told a youth was sitting in a fenced-in area of a closed business.
Arriving officers found a woman and three youths sitting at a table who they say weren't wearing masks or physically distancing.
The woman was fined and the youths received warnings.
“We all need to do our part to reduce the spread of COVID-19,” police said in a news release. “The RCMP would like to thank Nova Scotians for their continued support, and express appreciation to the vast majority who are adhering to the directives outlined by the provincial government.”
