Arrest made after two men stabbed on Barrington Street

Halifax Regional Police have a suspect in custody after a Monday morning stabbing in Halifax.  Officers were called to the scene in the 1200 block of Barrington Street at 4:10 a.m. to find two men suffering from stab wounds.  Police say the two victims were taken from the scene by EHS for treatment.  One man is said to have serious but non-life-threatening injuries, and the second man’s injuries appear to have been less severe.

HRP arrested a suspect at the scene but has not indicated whether charges would be laid. The Criminal Investigation Division is investigating and says more information will be released when it becomes available.
