Dumais makes history in Mooseheads’ 4-0 shut out win against Cape Breton

Jordan Dumais made history in the Halifax Mooseheads’ 4-0 shut out win over the Cape Breton Eagles on Sunday, becoming the Herd’s all time leader for career points.

It didn’t take long for Dumais to break the record as he offered up an assist, along with Mathieu Cataford, to Markus Vidicek who found the back of Cape Breton’s net near the end of the first period.

That broke a 20 year old record set by Brandon Benedict back in 2003.

Vidicek netted his second of the afternoon late in the second period to make it 2-0 Halifax heading into the third.

Cataford netted a pair of goals in the final period to make it a 4-0 final.
