RCMP investigating two suspicious deaths near Halifax

The RCMP and Halifax Regional Police Integrated Criminal Investigation Division are investigating two suspicious deaths that occurred in Enfield Friday.
On the morning of Oct. 18, the RCMP Halifax Regional Detachment responded to a request to check on the well-being of two people at a home on Rockcliffe Drive in Enfield. Responding officers found the remains of two adults deceased in the residence. The individuals were known to each other and the deaths are being treated as suspicious.
The ongoing investigation is led by the RCMP and HRP Integrated Criminal Investigation Division and supported by the RCMP Halifax Regional Detachment, Nova Scotia RCMP Forensic Identification Services (FIS), and the Nova Scotia Medical Examiner Service. Police are reporting there is no evidence at this time to suggest a threat to public safety.
