The Halifax Mooseheads nab win in final game of road trip

The Halifax Mooseheads wrapped up their final Quebec road trip of the season with a 1-0 win over the Quebec Remparts at the Videotron Centre on Saturday evening.
Amelio Santini netted the lone goal of the game, tipping Shawn Carrier’s shot through traffic and passed the glove of Remparts goaltender Louis-Antoine Denault 30 seconds into the second period.
Quebec seemingly tied up the contest on the powerplay tipping a puck past Steinman, but after a quick review the officials declared it no goal due to offside.
With the win the Herd improve to 16-25-7 while the Remparts fall to 18-24-4
Jacob Steinman earned first star honours after making 40 saves in the Mooseheads first shut out of the season. Second star went to Louis-Antoine Denault and Amelio Santini was awarded third star with the lone goal of the contest.
