No injuries reported as school bus, pickup truck collide in Halifax

Halifax Regional Police say the driver of a pickup truck was ticketed after a crash involving a school bus in downtown Halifax on Monday morning.

According to police, the crash happened around 7:45 a.m. at the intersection of Barrington Street and North Street. The school bus and the Dodge Ram collided head-on at a “low speed,” police say.

Officials with CSAP says students were delayed in getting to school but no injuries were reported.

The driver of the Ram was given a ticket for failing to yield to vehicle already in intersection when making left turn.
