Gas and diesel prices creep up in Nova Scotia

A small increase in fuel prices was seen across Nova Scotia Friday morning.

The Nova Scotia Utilities and Review Board (UARB) made its weekly adjustment at midnight, raising gasoline prices by 0.7 to 1 cent and setting the new minimum price at 163.8 cents per litre.

Diesel prices also saw a slight rise, increasing by 0.5 cents to 191.9 cents per litre.

At this time last year, drivers were paying 1.54 for gasoline and 1.86 for diesel, making today’s prices a modest increase from 2024.

The UARB regularly adjusts fuel prices to reflect market conditions, with weekly price changes impacting drivers across the province.
