Person arrested after stand-off with police in East Uniacke

RCMP arrested a man in the community of East Uniacke after a a stand-off on Wednesday morning

Officers say they responded to a call of a barricaded person at a residence on Tanglewood Drive. They closed the street and asked people to stay away from the area. Just after 7 a.m. Wednesday they say they took a person into custody and re-opened the street.

Police have not released any more information on the person’s identity or if any charges will be laid
