No change to gasoline prices as diesel takes a tumble

The price for gasoline did not change this week, as the provincial regulator announced its regular weekly adjustment.

The Nova Scotia Energy Board says the minimum price for regular, self-serve gasoline would remain at 139.4.

It’s a different story for diesel, which saw prices drop by 5.9 cents to a new minimum of 133.2.

This time last year, gas prices in the Halifax area were 179.4, and diesel prices were 175.4.
