The RCMP is investigating after reports of gunshots fired in East Preston on Monday night.

According to the Mounties, officers were called to reports of gunshots in the 200 block of Brooks Drive just before 10 p.m.

“The initial investigation indicates that occupants of two vehicles travelling east exchanged gunfire,” police wrote in a media release.

There have been no reports of injuries, officials said. There’s also no vehicle description available.

The investigation is ongoing and police are asking anyone with information to reach out to them.
