South Shore man charged with child pornography offences

The RCMP says a man from a small community on Nova Scotia’s South Shore is facing multiple child pornography-related charges.

According to police, a social media app notified officers that child pornography had been transmitted using their service.

On June 12, the Mounties in Lunenburg County executed a search warrant at a home in Camperdown and arrested a 27-year-old man.

Randy Rehberg is now facing charges for possession and distribution of child pornography and make written child pornography.

Police say Rehberg has been released on conditions and will appear in Bridgewater Provincial Court in September.
