Dartmouth crash leaves occupants with serious injuries, police say

Regional police responded to a serious crash in Dartmouth on Thursday afternoon.

According to police, a two-vehicle crash was reported just after 4 p.m. at the intersection of Main Street and Ridgecrest Drive.

Halifax Fire and Emergency Health Services were also called to the scene.

Police say all occupants of the vehicles involved suffered serious injuries and were being rushed to hospital.

The crash has traffic blocked in both directions on Main Street between Brigadoon Avenue and Ridgecrest Drive.

The investigation into the crash is in the early stages and police are asking anyone with information to come forward.
