Homeowner sprayed, stabbed in Lower Sackville home invasion

Two suspects are being sought as police investigate a home invasion in Lower Sackville on Wednesday night.
According to the RCMP, officers were called to a home on Alder Crescent just before 10 p.m. Wednesday.
Police say two masked men knocked on the door of the home and then kicked the door in.
“An occupant of the home confronted the suspects and was sprayed with a sensory irritant and stabbed,” reads a media release from the RCMP. “The suspects fled the scene in a dark coloured Honda Civic, heading towards Riverside Drive.”
Injuries to the victim are described as non-life-threatening, police say, but they were taken to hospital for treatment.
The suspects are only described as two men, one with red, curly hair.
The RCMP says the incident is not believed to be random, and anyone with information is asked to reach out to police.
