Gas and diesel see a jump at the pump in N.S.

Motorists in Nova Scotia will be paying a bit more for gas and diesel as of Friday morning.

In its weekly adjustment, the Nova Scotia Energy Board raised self-serve regular gas prices to 138 cents per litre.

That is an increase of 1.6 cents.

Diesel underwent an even more significant jump, going up by 6.3 cents to 187.2 cents per litre at midnight.

On this date last year, we were paying 1.58 for gas and diesel was 1.92 cents per litre.
