95.7 NewsRadio Weather Guarantee jackpot hits record high

The next winner of the 95.7 NewsRadio Weather Guarantee Peak Audio Video jackpot will be taking home a record-breaking amount of money.
The jackpot has now reached $5,525, becoming the largest in the 20-year history of the contest.
It will continue to climb by $25 each day until CityNews Meteorologist Allister Aalders misses his projected Guaranteed High by more than three degrees.
“The spring weather can be so changeable — if we don’t get enough sun, or if the wind changes direction on you, the temperature can go either way,” Aalders said. “There’s really a lot that does go in to setting that temperature every day.”
Aalders set the previous record jackpot of $5,500 in June 2025.
