RCMP investigate suspicious death in the Antigonish area

An investigation is underway after a deceased man was found in the small community of West Arm Tracadie in Antigonish County.

The RCMP says on Thursday, officers responded to reports of the body of a 42-year-old man located outside on Arthurs Point Lane.

Investigators are working with the Nova Scotia Medical Examiner Service to determine the manner of death.

Few other details have been provided by the RCMP but they say further information will be shared as it becomes available.

The investigation is ongoing.
