RCMP investigate fatal crash in Middleton that claims one life

A 47-year-old man is dead after a two-vehicle collision in Middleton on Saturday.

The RCMP say around 3:20 p.m., officers responded to a report of the crash on School Street in Middleton. Responding officers and other first responders learned a motorcycle and a Hyundai Sonata had collided.

The Mounties say the driver and sole occupant of the motorcycle, from Middleton, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Neither the driver nor the passenger of the Hyundai was injured in the crash.

Officers closed School Street for several hours as they conducted their investigation.

Anyone who witnessed the incident or has dashcam footage is asked to come forward to assist Annapolis District RCMP in their investigation.
