Two people dead after fatal collision on Highway 101, RCMP says

Kings District Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) are investigating a fatal crash on Highway 101 in Auburn, NS.
On August 29, at about 11 a.m., Kings District RCMP, fire services and Emergency Health Services responded to a collision on Highway 101 where they discovered an eastbound Chevrolet Impala and a westbound Ford escape had crashed.
The driver and sole occupants of both vehicles, a 63-year-old woman from Prospect and a 34-year-old man from Cambridge, were pronounced dead at the scene.
Highway 101 was closed for several hours while an RCMP collision reconstructionist attended the location of the collision. The investigation is ongoing.
