Halifax Regional Police are asking people to stay away after officials launched an operation on Thursday afternoon.

In a post, police said that there are roadblocks in place near the 50-100 block of Caledonia Road in Dartmouth. It is related to an ongoing investigation.

The roadway is closed between Main Street and Kennedy Drive for both vehicles and pedestrians.

Officials describe the incident as a “large police presence” asking people to avoid the area.
