Medium Energy

Meet beautiful Blaze! This Handsome Hound is ready to find a home with someone who will take him on leisurely runs down the road. When walking Blaze one of our dog care staff found out that he knows multiple commands for running, like "Go, Whoa, Left, Right" and listens very well to each one. As you can see in his pictures, he LOVES his toys, and happily picks one out everyday to bring to bed with him in the evening.

Blaze can be nervous at first, and is very clear with his boundaries, so we feel that he would do best with a dog savvy home, with no children, or other pets.
While in our care, Blaze was diagnosed with Lyme disease, and is undergoing antibiotic treatment, which seems to be making him feel much better.

Blaze is available for adoption from the Dartmouth SPCA. Please contact us at 468-7877 Option 6 for more information or at http://www.novascotiaspca.ca/contact-us/

You can drop by the shelter anytime during our business hours to meet adoptable dogs. We do not accept online applications at this time.

Our hours of operation can be found here: https://www.novascotiaspca.ca/shelters/dartmouth-shelter/
