Adopt Me: Dillybar is as sweet as his name

He may or may not have seizure issues in the future

HalifaxToday, in partnership with the Dartmouth SPCA, brings you a regular feature highlighting a special pet that is in need of adoption.

Two-year-old Dillybar is our newest adoptable!

This handsome guy made his way to us after it was noted he had a seizure in a home. After some diagnostics he was given the all-clear from the vet, but to be cautious we sent him to a foster home to monitor for any unusually activity. He was in the foster home for about one full month without any signs of seizure activity.

We are adopting out with education on the fact that this could occur at any point in the future, or may never happen again. He does not need medication at this time, but could possibly need medication if a seizure disorder becomes diagnosed.

Dillybar has shown us to be a very laid back cat who enjoys attention. His foster stated that "he was a really great cat". We feel he would do well in homes with older children with no other cats.

Dillybar is available for adoption through the Dartmouth SPCA. If interested in meeting him and possibly adopting please follow this link for the next steps:
