HalifaxToday, in partnership with the Dartmouth SPCA, brings you a regular feature highlighting a special pet that is in need of adoption.

Gracie

Gracie is a 12-year-old terrier mix (25 kg) suitable for kids 12 years and older. No apartments/condos.

Sweet senior Gracie is looking for a retirement home as part of our palliative care program. She has hip dysplasia and degenerative joint disease, but does very well on pain medication provided by the SPCA.

Having said that, do not underestimate her zest for adventure. She still enjoys short walks especially if they are followed by lots of snuggles!

A home with few to no stairs would be best and any other pets would have to be senior as well. Gracie is a special girl who deserves to be loved and spoiled.

Gracie is available for adoption from the Dartmouth SPCA. Please use the following link and follow the steps to submit an application and request an appointment: novascotiaspca.ca/adoptionprocess.
