Adopt Me: Keeta would be a great snuggle buddy for those chilly nights

She is looking for a home without children or other pets

CityNews Halifax, in partnership with the Dartmouth SPCA, brings you a regular feature highlighting a special pet that is in need of adoption.

Gender: Female spayed
Breed: Staffordshire Terrier mix (30 kgs)
Age: seven years old (approximately)

This lovely lady gets so excited to see her humans, that she shows you the biggest smile when you walk in the room!

Keeta wants nothing more than to be with with her people and accept all of the pets and bum scritches. With the weather turning colder, Keeta serves as a great heating source and snuggle buddy for those chilly nights.

Keeta has shown us signs of resource guarding. This is a manageable behavior but it is a good idea to research the subject to see if she is a goof fit for you.

She would prefer an adult-only home with no other pets.

Keeta had major orthopedic surgery on Nov. 23 (TPLO) so will require a very specific rehab regiment for the next several weeks. Information and support will be given in advance to taking her home. Important to note is that Keeta is unable to do stairs at this point in her recovery.
