Adopt Me: King still thinks he's a puppy

His new family should have large breed experience, and no other pets

CityNews Halifax, in partnership with the Dartmouth SPCA, brings you a regular feature highlighting a special pet that is in need of adoption.

No one has told King that he is not a lap dog but he is by far the most affectionate GSD mix we have met in a while. He is also apparently unaware that he is four years old. . . He thinks he is still a puppy.

As sweet as he is, King is a big boy so we are looking for someone with large breed experience to allow him to reach his full potential.

King will resource guard his food and other items he considers important to him. This is a behavior that can be managed so if you are unfamiliar with this, we recommend you research the topic to be sure King will be a good fit for you.

He is looking for an adult-only home, with no other pets. He would not be suited to an apartment or condo.
