CityNews Halifax, in partnership with the Dartmouth SPCA, brings you a regular feature highlighting a special pet that is in need of adoption.
*************************
Lucia
Lucia is a sweet five-year-old black kitty who was surrendered to the SPCA when her owner could no longer care for her.
She would likely do well in a quieter home as she can be shy in her kennel. Older children (if any at all) would be ideal. We are unsure how she would interact with other animals.
When you first approach Lucia's kennel, you can often find her hiding under her cat bed. As soon as the bed is moved to the side, she erupts in purrs. She loves to receive affection and is a purrfectly sweet companion.
