Meet our senior boy Rocky. Rocky has spent the last few months in a wonderful foster home while his medical needs were being met. Here is what our foster has to say:

"Rocky is a wonderful attentive companion. His deep WOOF is a deterrent to anyone who knocks or rings the bell. Prances like a puppy when happy, especially before meals. Rocky is always hungry, so best not to leave food on counters, tables or floors keeping in mind Rocky is on a very specific veterinarian diet. Rocky is friendly, he leans against you and/or puts his head in your lap. Should be walked a couple times a day - sniffs every blade of grass, tree, phone pole, vehicle which makes you have to have patience and enjoy the day. Cries, whines / whines briefly when excited or put away for dinner; does not bother us. He is keen and happy to travel in the car. He is gentle but strong. He has liked everyone who has come to the house but may bowl over small children as he is rather strong."

A huge thank you to his amazing foster family.

Rocky qualifies for our palliative care program.

Rocky is available to be seen at the Dartmouth SPCA. Please contact us at 468-7877 Option 6 for more information or at
