Adopt Me: Rosco is an active, energetic dog

He is looking for a larger home with no children

HalifaxToday, in partnership with the Dartmouth SPCA, brings you a regular feature highlighting a special pet that is in need of adoption.

Rosco is a four-year-old amstaff/lab mix (36kg) suitable for adults only. No apartments or condos.

Rosco is a very energetic outgoing guy. He has a lot of energy to burn off, so an active home would be great for him.

He still acts like a big puppy as he still needs to learn some manners. He means well but just doesn't realize his size when he jumps up on people.

Rosco does enjoy spending a lot of time outside whether it be walking or just roaming in our backyard. He does have a behaviour issue called resource guarding when it comes to his food. We recommend doing some research on this behaviour before applying for him.

Rosco is available for adoption from the Dartmouth SPCA. Please use the following link and follow the steps to submit an application and request an appointment:

Unable to adopt? Share this feature on social media so each animal can get the exposure it needs and find a loving home.
