Dr Dafydd Davies, IWK Chief of Surgery, reports a growing number of Maritime children were seriously hurt in all-terrain vehicle incidents last year. Allan Melvin, Nova Scotia Federation of Agriculture vice-president, says farmers are being asked by their provincial association to be careful and vigilant as temporary foreign workers continue arriving in the province for this year's growing season.
