MONCTON, N.B. — New Brunswick police have identified the victim of a fatal shooting Monday morning in Moncton, N.B., as 18-year-old Joedin Leger. They say they are investigating his death as a homicide.

MONCTON, N.B. — New Brunswick police have identified the victim of a fatal shooting Monday morning in Moncton, N.B., as 18-year-old Joedin Leger.

They say they are investigating his death as a homicide.

Leger was shot outside a home on Logan Lane and died of his injuries in hospital.

The RCMP said today in a news release a car pulled up to a house on Logan Lane and four people got out and approached the home.

They say several shots were fired before the suspects got back into the vehicle, which sped away.

Police say the shooting was an isolated incident and are asking anyone with information to come forward.
