N.B. reports 82 new COVID-19 cases, circuit-breaker rules remain in Moncton

FREDERICTON — New Brunswick is reporting 82 new cases of COVID-19 today. 

The province has 565 active reported infections.   

There are 30 people hospitalized with the disease, including 16 in intensive care.   

A case of COVID-19 has been confirmed at Origins Natural Learning Childcare Ltd., in the Saint John region.

The municipalities of Moncton, Riverview and Dieppe and most of the Miramichi region remain under circuit-breaker restrictions, under which private indoor gatherings are limited and travel in and out of those areas is restricted.   

About 87 per cent of eligible New Brunswickers are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and 93.2 per cent have received at least one dose.
