Darren Fisher re-elected in Dartmouth-Cole Harbour

Liberal Darren Fisher has been re-elected in Dartmouth-Cole Harbour.

Incumbent Fisher was first elected to Parliament in 2015 after serving as a councillor in Halifax Regional Municipality. He was re-elected in 2019.

As of 11:58 p.m., with 202 of 209 polls reporting, Fisher has 17,411 votes, or 51 per cent.

The NDP's Kevin Payne has 12,057 votes or 35 per cent.

Michelle Lindsay with the People's Party of  Canada has 3,701 votes or 11 per cent.

The Green Party's Rana Zaman has 1,216 votes or 4 per cent.

The riding has no Conservative candidate after Troy Myers withdrew from the race after allegations of sexual assault surfaced online. Myers has denied the allegations.
