DROP IN CENTRE
Up to 150 hot, nutritious lunches are served every weekday at Souls Harbour Rescue Mission in Halifax, Truro & Bridgewater. Our Drop In Centres have become a place of community. Our guests include men and women facing hunger, homelessness, poverty, abuse and addiction. We serve local families, as well as seniors from neighbouring affordable housing blocks. We offer free food, clothing, toiletries and household items.
An afternoon at Drop In means free local calls, the daily papers, magazines, as well as computers and free income tax returns in season. There is always a friendly face and someone to talk to. We provide a safe place to take those first steps to health and healing. All are welcome.
Meals are served afternoons Monday through Saturday in Halifax, and weekday afternoons except Wednesday in Bridgewater & Truro.
HOLIDAY DINNERS
4 times a year, we serve up to 400 men, women, and families from our community a 3-course meal. $4.85 is the current cost of serving a meal at Drop-in. Food donations reduce our costs during times like Christmas. An extra turkey bought at Thanksgiving goes a long way to feeding people who are hungry in our communities.

MISSION MART
Mission Mart is a 17,000 square foot department style thrift store where 100% of the proceeds go to support the work of Souls Harbour Rescue MIssion in Halifax, Bridgewater, and Truro. It is 90% run by volunteers . Donations of good used clothing, shoes, household items, electronics, books, and other items can be dropped off Mon-Sat, 9:30 - 4:30 at 265 Susie Lake Crescent. Due to space restrictions we are unable to accept large furniture and appliances at this time.
