Game 5 of Mooseheads’ playoff series postponed

By Mark Hodgins

The fifth and deciding game of the first-round playoff series between the Halifax Mooseheads and the Acadie-Bathurst Titan has been postponed.

The decision was made by the QMJHL after Wednesday night's game went to triple overtime.

The teams were scheduled to play game five in Bathurst on Thursday night, less than 24 hours later.

“With last night’s game four needing three overtimes to declare a winner, the League judged it prudent, for the well-being and security of the players, to postpone the game to Friday,” read a press release from the QMJHL.

Game five will now be played on Friday, May 13 at 7 p.m. You'll be able to listen live on CityNews 95.7.
