A drop in the price for gasoline across Nova Scotia this morning.
The provincial regulator lowering the minimum price for self serve regular by 5.7 cents to 166.6.
A bigger drop in the price for diesel fuel, with prices falling by 8.1 cents at midnight to 1.74.
At this time last year, we were paying 1.32 for gasoline and 1.19 for diesel.
Oil was selling at $60 U.S. per barrel, just under 42 dollars less than yesterday's closing price of $102.98.
