Gas prices expected to go up this week in Nova Scotia

It looks like the downward trend in the price for gasoline is coming to an end in Nova Scotia.

Managing partner and market analyst with Price Street Rory Johnston is expecting to see prices rise in the province by about four cents per litre this week.

Johnston telling CityNews Halifax, oil prices are again on the rise as sanctions against Russia begin to take hold.

“Oil prices which had fallen below $100 dollars at the beginning of the week are now back up to $106, $107.”

Across the border in New Brunswick, that province's regulator moving the maximum price down 3/10ths of a cent to 172.8.
