Gas prices expected to rise across Nova Scotia

Look for another increase in the price for gasoline across the province this week.

Our newsroom has gone over the numbers, and we are predicting that the minimum price for regular self serve will climb by two cents.

George Murphy of Consumers for Fair Gas Prices says oil prices continue to climb on news of demand increases.

“Last week showed a bit of an upwards trend again,” said Murphy. “U.S. domestic right now is around 9.7 million barrels a day.”

Across the border in New Brunswick prices jumped by 1.5 cents to 120.1.
