Interrupter clause to change gas prices overnight into Tuesday

By Meghan Groff

The interrupter clause will be used for gasoline.

The Nova Scotia Utility and Review Board says the price will change at midnight Monday into Tuesday.

“This change is necessary due to significant shifts in the market price of gasoline,” the UARB said in a news release.

The board did not indicate if the new price would be higher or lower.

In its regular weekly adjustment last Friday, the UARB increased the price of gas 7.6 cents to 198.5.

There will be no change in the price of diesel.
