Interrupter clause will change price of diesel

By Meghan Groff

The price of diesel will change at midnight Tuesday into Wednesday

The Nova Scotia Utility and Review Board will be invoking the interrupter clause.

“This change is necessary due to significant shifts in the market price of diesel oil,” the UARB said in a news release.

The board did not indicate if the new price would be higher or lower.

The current price for diesel sits at 245.8.

The interrupter clause was just used early this morning to raise gasoline to a record-high minimum price of 2.08 per litre.

This upcoming adjustment will not affect gas.
