An Irish Naval Service patrol vessel is visiting Halifax this week.

According to marinetraffic.com, L.É. James Joyce arrived in the harbour this morning after sailing from Portland, Maine.

It's docked near the Nova Scotia Power building.

A news release from the Embassy of Ireland says the ship will be open to the public.

Fiona may change that, but for now, Haligonians can plan to check the ship out Thursday from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
