Joe Jackson coming to Halifax in July

Legendary songwriter Joe Jackson will be touring the Maritimes this summer.

Known for songs such as 'Is She Really Going Out With Him', 'Stepping Out' and 'Breaking Us In Two', he's adding new dates to his long running Fast Forward tour.

Jackson will play Halifax's Rebecca Cohn Auditorium on July 14, then perform in Moncton July 15.

“The tour includes several cities where Jackson hasn't been in years and several he's never visited before,” says a news release from evenko.

The show is expected to feature a mix of songs from his extensive catalogue, covers and never-before-performed originals.

Tickets for the Halifax show go on sale Friday at noon.
