Expect lane closures on the MacKay Bridge this weekend.
Halifax Harbour Bridges says one lane in each direction will shut down at 7 p.m. Friday. They aren't expected to reopen until 5:30 a.m. Monday.
Crews will be preparing the two north lanes for resurfacing.
The resurfacing will take place the following two weekends and will require full closures of the cross-harbour span.
More full closures of the MacKay will take place on several weekends throughout the summer for expansion joint replacement.
