Man charged with robbery at Dartmouth gas station

Regional police have charged a man in connection to a robbery in Dartmouth on Monday.

At roughly 1 a.m., officers responded to a robbery that took place at the Circle K on Main Street where a man came into the store, threatened employees with a knife before fleeing on foot with cash.

The suspect was later arrested without incident in the area of Cedarwood Drive with the assistance of Halifax District RCMP patrol members.

Jason Alan Brown, 45, was scheduled to appear in Dartmouth provincial court on Monday to face charges including possession of a weapon dangerous to the public peace, possession of stolen property and disguise with intent.
