Mooseheads top Eagles 11-4 in Halifax

The Halifax Mooseheads defeated the Cape Breton Eagles in a high-scoring game Thursday night.

Zachary L'Heureux put the Mooseheads on the board three minutes into the game.

Shortly after, the Eagle's Émile Hegarty-Aubin tied the game. 

Senna Peeters with the Mooseheads, Dawson Stairs with the Eagles, and Markus Vidicek with the Mooseheads also scored in the first period. 

In the second period the Moosheads scored three goals; Senna Peeters scoring two of them, and Justin Barron scoring one. 

Jordan Dumais scored the Mooseheads' seventh goal just over 30 seconds into the third period.

He scored again a few minutes later, as did Zachary L'Heureux.

Dawson Stairs scored the Eagles' third goal of the night halfway through the final period. 

It was followed by a goal from the Moosehead's Jake Furlong. 

Cole Fraser scored the Eagles' fourth and final goal of the game, and Kyle Petten put the Mooseheads at 11.
