Most remaining COVID-19 restrictions end in Nova Scotia

By Mark Hodgins

COVID-19 related restrictions are largely a thing of the past in Nova Scotia.

As of Wednesday morning, the province has dropped most remaining Public Health measures in the community.

That includes removing the requirement that people self-isolate after testing positive for COVID-19.

Chief Medical Officer of Health Dr. Robert Strang says people “should” isolate if they feel sick despite the province no longer enforcing the rule.

The province says some restrictions will remain in place in high-risk settings, like long-term care facilities.
