New vaccine outreach clinics announced in all provincial health zones

By Dan Ahlstrand

Nova Scotia Health has announced a series of vaccine clinics across the province.

Public Health says those 12 and older who have completed their primary series of vaccinations can receive a fall dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, regardless of the number of booster doses they have already received, as long as the minimum amount of days has passed since their last shot.

The intervals between doses vary based on age and risk factors.  The latest guidance is available on Nova Scotia Health's website.

Public Health says vaccine outreach for six months to 4 years of age will be added as soon as the service becomes available.

Nova Scotia Health says currently, these outreach clinics may offer the following vaccines:

  • Pfizer Bivalent Vaccine – 12+
  • Pfizer – Primary Series – 12+
  • Pfizer – Primary Series and Booster – 5-11
  • Moderna Infant – Primary Series – 6 months – 4 years
