Not much change expected at the gas pumps this week

Price Street's Rory Johnston is expecting gas prices will hold steady this week - though he adds we could see a slight drop

Not much change in the price for gasoline expected this week in Nova Scotia.

That according to Price Street's Rory Johnston. He's expecting prices will hold steady although he does say we could also see a slight drop. 

Johnston says there's still lots of global pressure on oil. 

"The biggest things still driving the prices are the on again, off again speculation around what's going to be happening with Russia and Ukraine, and we're still waiting to see a more noticeable uptick in U.S. production from the U.S. shale patch."

Across the border in New Brunswick prices spiked overnight, going up 10 cents to 182.9.
