NSCAD staff and faculty union reach a tentative agreement

Staff at NSCAD have a tentative new deal.
The Nova Scotia College of Art and Design with the Faculty Union of NSCAD (FUNSCAD) Unit announced yesterday that they have reached a tentative agreement in collective bargaining with their regular full-time, pro-rated and part-time faculty.
The collective agreement expired on June 30 and the parties have been at the bargaining table since August in a facilitated approach to reach a new four-year agreement.
It is expected that a ratification vote will be held as quickly as possible.
